Getting virus scanner output in sanatizer.log

    What's the best way to get the output from my virus scanner into the
    sanitizer log attachment?

    When a virus is found I would like my users to be able to see what virus
    was found.

    I've tried telling my virus scanner to print to STDOUT and to STDERR,
    but I don't see anything.
