    Hi,

    I am using the latest version of anomy (hoping it would fix a problem I
    have) but unfortunately it doesn't..

    The problem is that attachments from Exchange/Outlook users get
    corrupted. The end result is that the document is completely unreadable
    when detached.

    One of the symptoms is that it ends up with the following being inserted
    into the body of the attachment:

    M````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
    ><DEFANGED.35 M````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````

    As you can see, for some reason Anomy has added a ><DEFANGED string into
    the document!

    The Mime header is as follows:

    begin 600 Ans_Questions concerning analysis doc 0.2.doc
    MT,\1X*&Q&N$`````````````````````/@`#`/[_"0`&```````````````"
    M````DP``````````$```E0````$```#^____`````)$```"2````________
    M____________________________________________________________
    M____________________________________________________________
    M____________________________________________________________

    and it ends with:

    M````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
    4```````````````````````````=
    `
    end

    My sanitizer.cfg is as follows:

    =============================================================

    # Active features.
    #
    feat_boundaries = 0
    feat_files = 1
    feat_forwards = 0

    file_list_2 += |can|pos|ux|reg|kbf|xal|\d+)(\.g?z|\.bz\d?)*$

    file_list_3_scanner = 0
    file_list_3_policy = accept
    file_list_3 = ^[^\.]+$

    # Archives and scriptable stuff - virus scan these.

    #file_list_4 += )(\.g?z|\.bz\d?)*$

    # Default policy: accept, but mangle file name.
    #
    file_default_policy = accept

    =============================================================

    and my .procmailrc is as follows:

    ANOMY=/etc/mail/anomy
    #VERBOSE=yes
    #LOGFILE=~/procmail-sanitizer.log
    :0 fw
    |/etc/mail/anomy/bin/sanitizer.pl /etc/sanitiser.cfg

    Any ideas? This is preventing me from using Anomy here (where it's much
    needed as many people use Outhouse^H^H^Hlook)..

    Cheers,
    Phil
